Fire Bans:

Updated September 1, 2010

Effective immediately, the campfire ban has been lifted in our region. Campers are now permitted to have small, wood burning fires as well as tiki torches and propane fires. Campfires must be no larger than half a metre wide by half a metre tall and people must have a shovel or at least eight litres of water nearby to fully extinguish it. We ask that all campers are extra cautious and are careful to fully extinguish fires with ashes being cold to the touch, before leaving them unattended or retiring for the evening.

To report a wildfire please call 1-800-663-5555 or *5555 from a cellphone
